Meditation Practices

The British School of Meditation is expanding as more and more people are trained as qualified meditation teachers. There are now meditation centres in many parts of the country delivering high quality courses in meditation practice. You can find the meditation centre nearest you by clicking on the links.

A daily meditation practice can bring great benefits to mind, body and spirit. There is a huge amount of scientific evidence available to show that developing a daily meditation practice can have quantifiable benefits to health, including lowering blood pressure and improving sleep. Not to mention how it can help people to manage stress better. Every day we see more and more evidence of the benefits of meditation practices in newspapers and magazines. They are even talking about meditation in The House of Commons! Even politicians are debating meditation practices.

Meditation Centres teaching beginners’ and more advanced courses can be found by checking on the area where you live to find a teacher near you. The teachers running these meditation centres have been trained by The British School of Meditation to the highest standards. The course they have studied is externally accredited by Ascentis and has Ofqual recognition. All our teachers have to sign up to our Code of Ethics, have insurance, and commit to on-going professional development.

So find the meditation centre in your area and begin your meditation journey.

If there is not a meditation centre near you at the moment: email: to register your interest and as soon as we have a class up and running Clare will be in touch with you.
